Oma Rhodes, 70, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 29, 1934
in Greenbrier, Mo., daughter of Earnest and Ople Stevens Storz. She and George A. Rhodes were married Feb. 15, 1976, in St.
Louis. He passed away July 23, 1993. Oma worked at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
Loving survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Brenda Rhodes of Oran; a grandson Donald Ray
Rhodes II of the state of Washington; six stepgrandchildren, Jacob and Anthony Tucker of Cape Girardeau, William Loper Jr.,
and Melissa Loper of Oran, Christina Bell of Jackson, Amy Phillips of Scott City; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, a grandson, two brothers and a sister. Friends may call Saturday,
March 12 after 11 a.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral
home with the Rev. Jack Martin officiating.
