Odis Lee Storz, 78, of Jackson died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 15, 1931, in Greenbriar, Mo., son of Earnest Moses and Ople Marie Stevens Storz. He and Charlsie Deck were married Nov. 17, 1956. She died Aug. 16, 2003.

Odis was a machinist and welder with Mueller Steel Co. in Springfield, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Army with the 19th Engineer Combat Battalion.

He was a member of Greater Vision Pentecostal Church of Chaffee, Mo.

Survivors include four sons, Odis Storz of Pasadena, Texas, Rondie Storz of Springfield, Randy Storz of Galesburg, Ill., Harold Storz of Jackson; three daughters, Sandra Anderson and Connie Vandergrift of Springfield, Tammie Hitchcock of Urbana, Mo.; three brothers, Charles Storz of St. Louis, Edwin Storz of Texas, Alfred Storz of Houston; a sister, Linda May of St. Louis; 27 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo., with full military honors. The Rev. Robert Poe will officiate.

PATTON, Mo. -- Charlsie P. Storz, 65, of Patton died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 18, 1937, at Hahn, Mo., daughter of the Rev. Noah C. and Pauline Brees Deck.

She was retired from Tri-County Health as a home health aide.

Survivors include four sons, Odis E. Storz of Pasadena, Texas, Rondie Dean Storz of Springfield, Mo., Randy Storz of Galesburg, Ill., and Harold Storz of Jackson; three daughters, Sandra Anderson, Connie Vandergrift and Tammie Hitchcock, all of Springfield; a sister, Mary Jane Peters of Leopold, Mo.; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
